The work The Marriage of Ruth and Boaz by Jan Victors was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2011. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,976.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Victors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruth And Naomi in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 168,101.13).
