Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Portrait Of A Family Within A Formal Garden Setting, The Husband And Wife Seated Beneath Two Fluted Pillars by Jan Victors was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,473.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Victors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruth And Naomi in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 168,101.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Portrait Of A Family Within A Formal Garden Setting, The Husband And Wife Seated Beneath Two Fluted Pillars von Jan Victors kam im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
