Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work A wooded river landscape with a traveller crossing a stone bridge near an oak tree and a farm house by Jan van Kessel. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
