Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tinnen soldaatje by Jan van Heel was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan van Heel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Clown in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 16,730.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tinnen soldaatje von Jan van Heel wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan van Heel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Clown im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.730,00.
