Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries', which included the work Dode Eend by Jan van Heel. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,250.00. Admittedly, works by Jan van Heel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Clown in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 16,730.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dode Eend von Jan van Heel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan van Heel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Clown im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.730,00.
