Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan van Heel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Clown in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 16,730.00.

Die Arbeit Rotsformatie III von Jan van Heel kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan van Heel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Clown im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.730,00.
