Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Women and children in the park by Jan Rijlaarsdam was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,020.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Rijlaarsdam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Flowergirl in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 18,800.00 (€ 9,036.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Women and children in the park von Jan Rijlaarsdam wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.020,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Rijlaarsdam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Flowergirl im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 18.800,00 (€ 9.036,16).
