Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower market by Jan Rijlaarsdam was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,140.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Rijlaarsdam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Flowergirl in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 18,800.00 (€ 9,036.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower market von Jan Rijlaarsdam kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.140,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Rijlaarsdam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Flowergirl im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 18.800,00 (€ 9.036,16).
