Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Garland Of Blue And White Grapes, Peaches, Oranges, Lemons And Prunes, Figs, Corn And Chestnuts, In A Landscape Near A Classical Column by Jan Pauwel Gillemans the Younger was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan Pauwel Gillemans the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life With A Basket Of Fruit And A Parakeet Upon A Ledge Draped With A Damask Beside An Ormolu Mounted Porphyry Vase in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,443.98).

Die Arbeit A Garland Of Blue And White Grapes, Peaches, Oranges, Lemons And Prunes, Figs, Corn And Chestnuts, In A Landscape Near A Classical Column von Jan Pauwel Gillemans the Younger kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
