Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work Grapes, plums, pomegranates, oranges and other fruit with a parrot among classical ruins in a landscape by Jan Pauwel Gillemans the Younger. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,902.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Pauwel Gillemans the Younger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With A Basket Of Fruit And A Parakeet Upon A Ledge Draped With A Damask Beside An Ormolu Mounted Porphyry Vase, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,443.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes, plums, pomegranates, oranges and other fruit with a parrot among classical ruins in a landscape von Jan Pauwel Gillemans the Younger zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.902,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
