Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work The construction of Solomon's temple, with Jerusalem behind by Jan Luyken. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,870.20). Other works by Jan Luyken have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 45,000.00 (€ 35,145.27) in January 2009 for the work The construction of Solomon's temple.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit The construction of Solomon's temple, with Jerusalem behind von Jan Luyken zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 34.870,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Luyken haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.000,00 (€ 35.145,27) im Januar 2009 für die Arbeit The construction of Solomon's temple beobachtet.
