Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work By the windmill by Jan Knikker Sen.. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,792.50. Other works by Jan Knikker Sen. have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 2,629.00 in February 2004 for the work A panoramic landscape with cows along a river.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit By the windmill von Jan Knikker Sen. zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.792,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Knikker Sen. haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.629,00 im Februar 2004 für die Arbeit A panoramic landscape with cows along a river beobachtet.
