The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - i Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Josef Horemans the Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 46,160.95).

Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 3.438,00 (€ 2.546,67) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Josef Horemans the Elder erzielen.
