The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,832.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Josef Horemans the Elder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Four Seasons in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 46,160.95).
