Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Jacob Spohler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A winter landscape with numerous skaters on a frozen waterway, Dordrecht in the distance in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 156,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
