It changed hands for a price of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 61,830.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Frans van Dael have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature Morte Aux Bouquets Dans Un Niche in May last year with an auction result of EUR 529,200.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life With Grapes And Peaches In A Basket, An Open Pomegranate, Plums, Black Grapes And More Peaches On The Marble Ledge Beneath von Jan Frans van Dael kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 48.500,00 (€ 61.830,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
