Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Crown Imperial, roses, hyacinths, an iris and other flowers in a terracotta vase with a bird's nest on a plinth by Jan Frans van Dael was sold in the Old Masters Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 272,750.00 (€ 305,812.72). Other works by Jan Frans van Dael have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 529,200.00 in May last year for the work Nature Morte Aux Bouquets Dans Un Niche.
