Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Flowers In A Basket And A Bird'S Nest, Circa 1810 by Jan Frans van Dael was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,659.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Dael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Bouquets Dans Un Niche in May last year with an auction result of EUR 529,200.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers In A Basket And A Bird'S Nest, Circa 1810 von Jan Frans van Dael kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.659,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Frans van Dael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Bouquets Dans Un Niche im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 529.200,00.
