Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,659.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Dael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Bouquets Dans Un Niche in May last year with an auction result of EUR 529,200.00.
