Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life Of Roses And Other Flowers, With Plums In A Tall Basket, Grapes, Apricots And Gooseberries All Upon A White Marble Ledge, Two Butterflies Fluttering by Jan Frans van Dael for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,574.13). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Dael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Bouquets Dans Un Niche in May last year with an auction result of EUR 529,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses And Other Flowers, With Plums In A Tall Basket, Grapes, Apricots And Gooseberries All Upon A White Marble Ledge, Two Butterflies Fluttering von Jan Frans van Dael für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.574,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Frans van Dael erzielen.
