Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Panoramic landscape by Jan Evert Morel for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jan Evert Morel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grapes, pomegranates, peaches, cherries, and a melon, with carnations, and other flowers on a stone ledge in a landscape in June 2004 with an auction result of USD 31,070.00 (€ 25,511.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Panoramic landscape von Jan Evert Morel für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Evert Morel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grapes, pomegranates, peaches, cherries, and a melon, with carnations, and other flowers on a stone ledge in a landscape im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.070,00 (€ 25.511,13).
