However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Eversen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With Oysters, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 24,250.00.

Die Arbeit Strawberries, eggs, white asparagus and a stone jug on a table von Jan Eversen wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Eversen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Still Life With Oysters beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 24.250,00 versteigert wurde.
