Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oysters on a pewter dish with a glass of wine and a peeled lemon by Jan Eversen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Eversen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With Oysters, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 24,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Oysters on a pewter dish with a glass of wine and a peeled lemon von Jan Eversen kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Eversen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Still Life With Oysters beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 24.250,00 versteigert wurde.
