Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life with pewterware, a glass, oysters, bread, walnuts, olives and a peeled lemon by Jan Eversen was sold in the European & British Art auction at Sothebys in London in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,865.67). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Eversen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With Oysters, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 24,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life with pewterware, a glass, oysters, bread, walnuts, olives and a peeled lemon von Jan Eversen wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion European & British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.865,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Eversen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Still Life With Oysters beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 24.250,00 versteigert wurde.
