Part I auction, the work Design for a musical emblem: A chamber orchestra performing within an architectural surround, accompanied by putti, Apollo and the Muses sold for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 50,452.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan de Braij - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Violin Player Accompanying Two Young Singers, which sold at auction in July 2015 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 177,208.02).

Für andere Arbeiten von Jan de Braij mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Violin Player Accompanying Two Young Singers beobachtet, die im Juli 2015 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 177.208,02) versteigert wurde.
