The work Lilies, tulips, roses and other flowers in an ornamental vase on a ledge, with butterflies and beetles by Jan Breughel I was worth GBP 755,250.00 (€ 892,617.11) to a buyer in December 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Evening Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Jan Breughel I have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Garden Of Eden With The Fall Of Man in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 6,802,500.00 (€ 8,580,091.30).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 250.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
