Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th CenturyEuropean Art, which included the work A bottle, roemer and lemons on a ledge by Jan Bogaerts. The price achieved of EUR 18,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Bogaerts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A colourful summer bouquet, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th CenturyEuropean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A bottle, roemer and lemons on a ledge von Jan Bogaerts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Bogaerts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A colourful summer bouquet beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
