However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Baptist van Fornenburgh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life Of Tulips, Lilies, Moss Roses, An Iris And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase In A Marble Niche, With Butterflies And A Lizard, which sold at auction in July 2009 for GBP 103,250.00 (€ 117,157.80).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 47.100,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
