In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers In A Wan-Li Porcelain Vase, Resting On A Stone Ledge With A Mouse, Observed By A Scarlet Macaw by Jan Baptist van Fornenburgh. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 68,620.84). Other works by Jan Baptist van Fornenburgh have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 103,250.00 (€ 117,157.80) in July 2009 for the work A Still Life Of Tulips, Lilies, Moss Roses, An Iris And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase In A Marble Niche, With Butterflies And A Lizard.
