This artwork by Jamshid Bayrami achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in May 2008. In the Photographs auction, the work In the Line of Devotion sold for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. This high result makes In the Line of Devotion the most expensive artwork by Jamshid Bayrami that we have observed at auctions so far.
