Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Orb Of Faith by Jamshid Bayrami was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 16,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,412.70). Other works by Jamshid Bayrami have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2008 by the work In the Line of Devotion at GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Orb Of Faith von Jamshid Bayrami im Oktober 2010 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 16.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.412,70) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jamshid Bayrami wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2008 die Arbeit In the Line of Devotion mit GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
