Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jamil Naqsh was auctioned at Christies in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,634.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamil Naqsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Reclining Nude) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 134,181.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jamil Naqsh kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.634,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamil Naqsh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Reclining Nude) im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 134.181,31).
