A top price for Jamil Naqsh - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Reclining Nude) by Jamil Naqsh was sold in the South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2010. The price achieved of USD 182,500.00 (€ 134,181.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Reclining Nude) is the most expensive artwork by Jamil Naqsh that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Reclining Nude) von Jamil Naqsh wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 134.181,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden.
