Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Nude with Dove) by Jamil Naqsh was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,669.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jamil Naqsh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Reclining Nude), which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 134,181.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Nude with Dove) von Jamil Naqsh kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.669,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jamil Naqsh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Reclining Nude) beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 182.500,00 (€ 134.181,31) versteigert wurde.
