The work The Royal Yacht Squadron'S Inaugural Westward Cup Regatta, 5Th - 11Th July 2010: Mariquita Running Up The Solent Under Goose-Wing Rig by Jamie Medlin was sold in the Maritime Art auction at Christies in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,236.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Jamie Medlin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Mariquita racing to windward during the Pendennis Cup, 2010 was auctioned for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,494.33).
