Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jamian Juliano-Villani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2019. In the New Now auction, the work Some Like it Hot sold for GBP 55,000.00 (€ 65,003.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jamian Juliano-Villani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heat Wave in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 342,171.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jamian Juliano-Villani erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Some Like it Hot für GBP 55.000,00 (€ 65.003,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jamian Juliano-Villani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heat Wave im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 342.171,67).
