The result of CAD 12,000.00 (€ 9,204.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Wilson Morrice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Evening Stroll, Venice in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 1,497,500.00 (€ 1,091,317.18).
