Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of CAD 33,000.00 (€ 25,540.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Wilson Morrice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Evening Stroll, Venice in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 1,497,500.00 (€ 1,091,317.18).
