Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Narcissi, tulips, carnations, delphiniums and nasturtiums in a goblet on a ledge by James Sillett was sold in the British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,820.00 (€ 4,609.96). Other works by James Sillett have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,962.49) in November 2010 for the work Goldfish.
