Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,660.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Peale achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vegetables: Still Life in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 785,000.00 (€ 743,230.45).
