The work Edinburgh from Corstorphine Hill by James Paterson was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,499.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Paterson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Green Jug in October 2002 with an auction result of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 56,708.38).

Die Arbeit Edinburgh from Corstorphine Hill von James Paterson kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.499,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Paterson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Green Jug im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.850,00 (€ 56.708,38).
