The work The German Fleet After Surrender - Firth of Forth 21 November 1918 by James Paterson was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 40,250.00 (€ 47,685.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by James Paterson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Green Jug sold at auction in October 2002 with the realized price of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 56,708.38).

Die Arbeit The German Fleet After Surrender - Firth of Forth 21 November 1918 von James Paterson wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.250,00 (€ 47.685,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%.
