Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Villas At Hammersmith by James Miller was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2009. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,255.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Miller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Dean'S Yard, Westminster, London, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,103.61).
