Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,523.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by James McBey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Dacie in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,566.56).
