The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 15,385.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by James Mathison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2014 the work Puño was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,149.54).
