The work River Scene by James Humbert Craig was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,903.70), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Humbert Craig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Soft Day, Connemara in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 102,421.11).

Die Arbeit River Scene von James Humbert Craig wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.903,70) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Humbert Craig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Soft Day, Connemara im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 102.421,11).
