Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 8,320.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Humbert Craig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Soft Day, Connemara in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 102,421.11).

Die Arbeit Red Bay, Co. Antrim 61 x 76.2 cm. (24 x 30 in.) von James Humbert Craig kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Dublin zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.320,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Humbert Craig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Soft Day, Connemara im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 102.421,11).
