Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Merchantmen off the coast; and Another similar by James Hardy. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 748.56). Admittedly, works by James Hardy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A successful shoot in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,965.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Merchantmen off the coast; and Another similar von James Hardy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 504,00 (€ 748,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Hardy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A successful shoot im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.965,09).
