Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Dutch pinck in close quarters, two frigates at their anchorage beyond by James Hardy was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 687.50 (€ 869.02). Admittedly, works by James Hardy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A successful shoot in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,965.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Dutch pinck in close quarters, two frigates at their anchorage beyond von James Hardy wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 687,50 (€ 869,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Hardy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A successful shoot im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.965,09).
