Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A naval engagement; and Shipping at sunset by James Hardy was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2005. The price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 731.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by James Hardy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A successful shoot in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,965.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A naval engagement; and Shipping at sunset von James Hardy kam im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 731,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Hardy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A successful shoot im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.965,09).
