In the THE IRISH SALE auction, the work A Picture in St. Colmcille's Hall sold for GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,784.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by James Dixon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 11,750.00 (€ 19,699.14).
